Artist Created Cards for our Soldiers Abroad
|
|
|
One of the most requested items soldiers serving abroad have is stationery items and cards to send home to their loved ones. Rather than shop the isles at Hallmark, we have called in the favors of artist friends and are providing beautiful, original art cards to theses brave and wonderful men and women as our way of saying thanks. We'll send these to any active service member through www.anysoldier.com who contacts us directly to let us know they have a request for them, and we actively search anysoldier.com and supply them. We're so excited to be providing these beautiful art cards to people who deserve only the best for sacrificing so much - time away from the ones they love.
Special thanks to the artists for sharing their special talents!
LEGAL NOTE: All the images used on this page are the copywrite of the original artist and are used here and for the Greeting Card Project with their permission. You may not use them in any manner. Thank you for respecting their rights and ours by not copying them.

What can I say? I paint what I please, hope you like it also! Contemporary Folk Art with an Edge! I suppose I could be tagged a mixed media artist because there is NOTHING that I won't paint or incorporate into my work! |
|
I have always been a sketcher but, watercolors were the first paint medium I started with & I prefer using them as they can create some pretty awesome, unexpected effects! |

About the Artist: Carol Chretien joined together her deep and abiding love of animals with her love of painting and in 2004 began painting works especially for animal charity. She has given us permission to use her work, "She Flies" as part of our greeting card collection to support the troops.
Carol has added two more beautiful pieces of work! Stars, Stripes & Spots Forever (I & II). These adorable Dalmatians are going to be very popular! We appreciate Carol's willingness to share with the Soldiers serving in active war zones. |

"Go Troops" by SM Violano
The artist did the original painting of this print as a gift to an unknown serviceman, who had to leave behind a beloved pet, in the care of a rescue when called overseas to duty.
The painting was her way of showing her appreciation to our troops. She's made this touching piece available to us to share as a card in the AnySoldier.com collection. Our sincere thanks and appreciation.

About the artist: S. M. Violano is an advocate for homeless pets. Many of her amazing portraits are of pets who at the time they are captured on her canvas are without a home, but soon after go on to find a loving and caring place to call their forever home. Please visit her site for more information about her life and work. |
